VA Educational Benefit Certification at CSUMB

If you are a veteran, reservist or dependent of a disabled or deceased veteran you should visit the Office of the Registrar and ask to speak to a VA Benefits Counselor about Montgomery GI Bill benefits and enrollment certification.  The counselor can answer questions about the variety of VA benefit classifications, the application process, current benefits payments, eligibility standards and the enrollment certification process.

Students planning to attend CSUMB should contact a campus Veterans Benefits Counselor before the beginning of their first semester to be advised on how to file for benefits. Continuing students with VA benefit eligibility will need to submit a VA Enrollment Certification Request form as soon as they have finalized their registration each semester in order to ensure that there is no break in benefits.
